こんにちは！スコットランドのグラスゴーから来ましたスコット トムソンです。
私は英語を教えることが大好きです！私は2002年に行われたサッカーW杯の時に日本に来て以来、英語を教えています。2007年、武蔵浦和にこのスコットイングリッシュスクールを開校し、これまでに何百人もの子どもや大人の英語教育をサポートしてきました。
Hello. My name is Scott Thomson and I’m from Glasgow in Scotland. I love teaching English! Nice to meet you. I’ve been in Japan since the football World Cup in 2002, and I’ve been teaching English since then. I’m the owner of Scott English School, which opened in 2007, and has been supporting hundreds of kids and adults with their English education in Musashi Urawa for many years.
私の趣味はサッカーやフットサルをすることや、家族と公園に行くこと、プレイステーションゲームをすることなどです。私には男の子と女の子、2人の幼い子どもがいます。忙しいですが、その分たくさんの喜びやインスピレーションを与えてくれます。
My hobbies are football, futsal, going to the park with my family and playing Playstation. I’m married and have two young children. One boy and one girl. They keep me busy but give me so much joy and inspiration.
私の人生観は前向きで、思いやりを持ち、楽しく、オープンマインドでいることです。
スコットランドで育ち教育を受けたあと25ヶ国以上を旅行し、とても多くのやりがいのある興味深い経験をすることができました。日本もとても親切に歓迎してくれ、素晴らしい国だと思っています！
My outlook on life is positive, compassionate, fun and open-minded. I’ve been lucky to have had lots of rewarding and interesting experiences in my life, having been raised and educated in Scotland and from traveling to over 25 countries. Japan has also been very welcoming and kind to me. Japan is a great country!
私はリスク管理の文学史号、TEFLのCELTA証明書（母国語が英語でない方に英語を教えるための検定資格。英国ケンブリッジ大学によって認可されている評価の高い資格）を保持しています。また約20年ほど、様々なタイプ、レベル、スタイルの英語を教えてきた経験があります。
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Risk Management, a CELTA certificate in TEFL and a Teaching English to Young Learners certificate, as well as around 20 years experience teaching various types, levels and styles of English lessons. I look forward to teaching many more in the future and will always try to help my students improve their speaking, listening, reading and writing.
将来的には、もっと多くの方が英語を聞いて話し、読み書きができるようになるお手伝いが出来るよう努めていきたいと思っており、またその機会を楽しみにしています。
